Terms of use
Last updated: November 5, 2026
The short version. Use I Garden Good to plan and track your garden, be decent, and remember that plants don't read our advice.
1. Who we are
I Garden Good (igardengood.com) is operated by Stefan Reiter, Montrose, Colorado, USA. By making an account or using the site, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy.
2. Who can use it
You must be 13 or older. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe.
3. Free during the beta
I Garden Good is free while it's in beta. Features may change, appear or disappear, and the service may end. If we ever charge for something, we'll tell you first, and you'll never be charged unless you agree.
4. Garden advice, not a guarantee
Zones, frost dates, planting windows, spacing and plant details are guidance to help you plan, not promises. Our plant catalog is still being checked: every plant is marked draft until it has been verified. Frost dates are long-term averages, and your garden's microclimate may differ. When in doubt, check with your local extension office. We're not responsible for frost, pests, drought or a zucchini surplus.
5. Your data is yours
You own what you put into I Garden Good. You let us store and process it only to run the service for you, as the privacy policy explains.
6. Play nice
Don't try to get into other people's accounts or data, break or get around our security, overload or scrape the service, or use it for anything illegal. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
7. Our part
The app, its design and our plant catalog belong to I Garden Good. Some reference data comes from others and is credited on every page: USDA/PRISM (hardiness zones), NOAA (frost dates) and GeoNames (ZIP codes, CC BY 4.0).
8. "As is"
We work hard to keep I Garden Good accurate and running, but it's provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, I Garden Good isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it, such as crop losses or lost data.
9. Ending things
You can stop using I Garden Good at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy policy). We can close accounts that break these terms.
10. Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For big changes, we'll email account holders before they take effect.
11. Colorado law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Colorado.
